As a space lawyer, he has also represented the United States as a member of the U.S. State Department delegation to the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space, Legal Subcommittee.
Mr. White oversaw the Contracts and Purchasing Department at Oceaneering International, Space Systems Division where he handled a wide variety of NASA, military, and commercial contract and subcontract matters related to space law, served as the export control representative, the conflict of interest avoidance plan administrator, and was a member of the intellectual property committee.
In 2014, Mr. White also was awarded a patent for his Rapid Assembly Lightweight Modular Structure [for the Moon, Mars, and extreme environments on Earth]. As a space attorney, he was also a key space law program member of the NASA Constellation Space Suit System proposal team.
When it comes to space law programs, he managed the space suit prime contract and 11 subcontracts following the award of the $950 million contract. As an air space lawyer, he also significant international experience with outer space matters.
