GAO PROTEST TIMELINE
When you file a government protest that challenges the terms and conditions of the solicitation, then the timeline is before the time for receipt of initial proposals. On the other hand, if you are a filing a post-award protest (challenging the award), then GAO protest timeline is within 10 days of when the protester knows or should know of the basis of the protest. There is an exception to government contract protest timeline filing rules at GAO when the protestor requests a “required” debriefing.
